7-oz can tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon leaf oregano
Garlic powder
1 cup grated mozzarella or Swiss cheese
1 lb. mild flavoured fish fillets
Preheat oven to 425 F. Stir tomato sauce with seasonings. Grate cheese. Spread out fillets in an 8-inch glass baking dish with shallow sides. Spoon seasoned tomato sauce over fillets. Scatter cheese over top. Bake fish at this point or refrigerate, uncovered, for up to 3 hours before baking.
Bake in centre of preheated oven for 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily when pierced with a fork.
